Genuine Nikon product. These covers are very rigid. The must be made from polycarbonate or Lexan or something. Comes with the tear-off plastic film just like the factory ones. Fits D810 as well.

I bought it for my d800. Its a perfect bit and never fell or anything negative. The lens is clear and so far worn well (about 1 years now)

Replacing this for one I broke in the field. The first one did its job in sacrificing itself to protect the screen. This one fits fine and works well.

Took one star off because it looked used with light scratches but no complain for the price I paid for it. Arrived way before expected time in bubble envelope. Fits perfectly over camera LCD

This is a Nikon OEM replacement for the screen that came with my D-800 camera. The original one was getting a bit scratched up. On this one I put some of that plastic screen protector material on so as it gets scratched I can replace the disposable film. Replacing one of these is a LOT cheaper and better than having to replace the actual readout screen.

These and I mean the one that comes with camera get scratched up pretty easily and the snap tabs have broken (due to careless handling), so having a few extra is a pretty good thing. Just wish they were cheaper

My old cover had gotten a lot of scratches so the screen was hard to see outside. Cant beat Nikon products! Im a faithful Nikon fan. I have a D3x, D800, P7700, a waterproof Nikon and two Nikon pocket cameras. Plus I have a F100 and a D100 that I retired.

Not a particularly exciting product but I take good care of my cameras and this protects the digital display on the cameras back and I bought several of them because they get beaten up just handling the camera. Very inexpensive part to protect the display.
